For Committee Meetings questions may only be raised on items on the agenda.
For Full Town Council meetings, items which fall within the scope of the Council's activities may be raised by Bideford Residents. Participants will be asked to read the Bideford Town Council Code of Conduct (or available at the meeting), and to complete a pro-forma stating their name and address and item to be raised.

Town Council Budget 22 / 23:
The Council resolved upon a budget of £10,000.00 for Environmental projects in the current financial year.
At the Decarbonisation and Environment Committee Meeting held on 8 February 2022 Members considered the Agenda item:
“That £3,000 be provided from the Environment Budget to ACE Railway towards the cost of building the economic and environmental case to reconnect Bideford to the main rail network.”
It was recommended to Council (approved and adopted) that £3,000.00 is provided from the Climate Change budget to support the Environmental aspect of the Economic Report and the benefits to the decarbonisation of Bideford.
Should the monies remain ringfenced, £7,000.00 only remains available from the current budget.

Report Agenda item 7 – Free Parking Days
Torridge District Council allocates 2 free days parking per annum to Bideford Town Council for the car parks owned by TDC. In December 2022, Bideford Town Council opted for the free parking on the following days.

Sat 17th Dec £1,752.00 (Bridge St, Quay, Manor & Pill)
Members chose to start the free parking at 10.00 am and the Honestone Street carpark was not included in the scheme. Bideford Town Council was not charged for the parking, but the figures are indicative of the cost.
