Signing of the Lease  -  Pannier Market  Saturday 2nd December 10.30am


 To celebrate Bideford Town Council being given the lease of the Pannier Market for £1 a year from Torridge District Council.

The Mayor and Civic Party depart the Town Hall, headed by the Town Crier at 10.20am, processing along Allhalland Street, up the High Street and turning left into Grenville Street and then reaching the Pannier Market.

Trophies and Certificates will be awarded to this year's Allotment plot and site winners by the Mayor.  Afterwhich the Signing of the Lease will be celebrated with mince pies and mead for all.

A great opportunity to pick up something different gift ideas to help with your shopping list.  The Pannier Market will be buzzing with activity and colourful characters - do please come along to see a little of our town pageantry and history.

NOTE: Free parking after 10am

No free parking on-street, meter charges will still apply

PANNIER MARKET (Honestone Street)   -   Sunday 3rd December, then Saturdays 9th, 16th and 23rd December

THE PILL   -   Sunday 3rd December, then Saturdays 9th, 16th and 23rd December

MANOR CAR PARK   -   Saturdays 9th, 16th and 23rd December

THE QUAY   -   Sunday 3rd December (limited spaces), then Saturdays 9th, 16th and 23rd December

BRIDGE STREET   -   Sunday 3rd December, then Saturdays 9th, 16th and 23rd December

There will also be Small Business Day on Saturday 2nd December FREE PARKING courtesy of Torridge District Council in the above car parks from 10am until 6pm

PLEASE NOTE:  THE QUAY AND MANOR CAR PARKS WILL BE CLOSED FROM 6PM ON SATURDAY 2ND DECEMBER IN ORDER TO KEEP CLEAR FOR THE FOLLOWING DAY'S FESTIVITIES WITH THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON
