Bideford Town Council is proud to recognise the vital contribution made by local organisations to the wellbeing of our community.
This year, a total of £41,250 has been awarded to 41 organisations through the Council’s grant scheme. These grants are designed to support initiatives that benefit Bideford residents, helping to enhance community life across the town. From community services and local events to environmental and cultural projects, this funding plays an important role in sustaining and strengthening the valuable work carried out by local groups.
To be eligible for funding, applicants must either be based in Bideford or clearly demonstrate how their work benefits a significant number of Bideford residents. This ensures that public funds are directed where they can have the greatest local impact.
On Tuesday 21 April 2026, successful applicants were presented with their Grant Awards at the Annual Parish Meeting, providing an opportunity to celebrate the dedication and positive contributions of these organisations.
