 076.    TO RECEIVE, CONSIDER AND RESOLVE AN APPLICATION FOR A STREET CAFÉ LICENCE 

Members considered the consultation document for a Street Café Licence for Costa Coffee, 86 High Street, Bideford

RESOLVED: That the application for a Street Café Licence at Costa Coffee, 86 High Street, Bideford is approved.

RESOLVED: That Bideford Town Council defer any decision on this application as the concept of a Business Hub has come as a surprise to the three serving Torridge District Councillors, who also serve on this Committee as Bideford Town Councillors.

We would like further information on the proposed application and business hub.

RESOLVED: That the application is approved providing Torridge District Council are robust in ensuring the tree and shrub planting is complete before any of the yurts are occupied.

078.     PLANNING AUTHORITIES UPDATE BY CLERK

Members noted the decisions received from Torridge District Council since the last meeting.

The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 6.30 pm.
