There were no Declarations of Interest.
 
112.    PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION
 
There were no members of the public in attendance.
 
113.    MINUTES
 
The Minutes of the Meeting held on 20 April 2022 were approved and signed as a correct record.
The minutes had not been included in the agenda pack, the Chairman deferred this item to the next Planning meeting.
The Clerk apologised for her oversight.
 
 
114.    TO CONSIDER AND RESOLVE UPON FIVE POSTAL ADDRESSES FOR THE NEW DEVELOPMENT IN EAST THE WATER
 
The Chairman explained to members that he did not consider that the Post Office would consider the names put forward by the Developer as there could be confusion with other places using the name Grange.  He advised that it was usual to use the names of Mayors who had since passed.  
 
Members discussed the various names that could be used.
 
Proposed by Councillor Mrs J Gubb, seconded by Councillor Ratcliff and
 
RESOLVED: That the following names are put forward to the Development 
Company:
 
1.    Lacey Avenue
2.    Hadfield Court
3.    Patt Drive
4.    Elliott Way
5.    Clarke Place

115.   PLANNING APPLICATIONS
 
a.      Application No:   1/0383/2022/LBC.  Regularisation of alterations to internal layout.  Croft & Co Lettings, 1 Market Place, Bideford, Devon.  Applicant: Mr R Holdcroft, Croft Homes (same address).  Agent: None supplied.  (Date received:  20 April 2022).
 
Proposed by Councillor Ratcliff, seconded and
 
RESOLVED:  That the application is approved on the proviso that the Conservation Officer is satisfied with the works.

RESOLVED:  That the application is refused on the following grounds:

• This is a site that could be subject to flooding

116.     PLANNING AUTHORITIES UPDATE BY CLERK
 
Members noted the decisions received from Torridge District Council since the last meeting.
 
 
 
The business of the meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked Members for their attendance and the meeting concluded at 6.30 pm.
