The Minutes of the Meeting held on 12 February 2014 were approved and signed as a correct record.

a.Application: No 1/1162/2013/OUTM: Construction of up to 76 dwellings together with associated parking, roads, sewers, children’s play area and access.  Applicant:  Mr. S Drydale, M Baker (Property Services) Ltd. c/o agent.  Agent: Miss Julie Lyle (Date received: 6 Feb 14).

RESOLVED: That the application is approved.  However, the Council would want the toddler’s play area securely fenced in, given the proximity to the watercourse and query the lack of a play area on the Eastern side of the development. The Council would also query what the exact proportion of affordable housing would be.

105 PLANNING APPLICATIONS – NOTIFICATION OF DECISIONS BY PLANNING AUTHORITIES AND UPDATE BY CLERK

The Assistant to the Town Clerk listed the decisions received from Torridge District Council since the last meeting and gave feedback received from TDC re decisions made following BTC refusals – they do not keep any statistics on these decisions.                    

The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 7.00 pm.
