No resolution as the decision had already been made by the Authority.  The Clerk explained that the decision had come in at the same time as the Consultation document which meant that no consultation could be made by this Committee.

Members agreed that a letter be sent to Torridge District Council Planning highlighting this issue, which was not the first time.

068   PLANNING AUTHORITIES UPDATE BY CLERK

Members noted the decisions received from Torridge District Council since the last meeting.

The Clerk read out the decisions that had come in after the Agenda had been sent out, three of which were for the same application.  She explained that these decisions had come in before the Consultation documents which meant the decisions had already been made before this Committee had been consulted.

The Chairman, fully supported by all Committee members present, requested that a letter be sent to Torridge District Council Planning highlighting this and previous decisions and that the point needed to be strongly made.

The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 6.30 pm.
