No declarations of interest were made at this point.                   

029   PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION

Mr Chris Hassall was present and the Chairman invited him to speak.

Mr Hassall wished to speak regarding Agenda Item 6(j) and 6(i)

•    6(j) He wished to press the point that Conditions 16 and 17 of this application would be retained regarding the badger and bat reports.

•    The Chairman answered that a badger movement licence had been applied for and that once a report had been submitted outlining recommendations, they would be on record and maintained.

•    6(i) Mr Hassall was concerned about the lack of parking space available in the area of the development, which he considered would be exacerbated by no parking spaces being provided on the site.
He further commented that it seemed unreasonable that the applicant had been  granted permission on the original application and then could make alterations to increase accommodation and so raise more profit.

•    The Chairman answered the latter that what the applicant was doing was perfectly legal within planning rules.
