RESOLVED:  That the application is approved.  Members commented that the applicant had gone some way to reduce the overlooking issue.  They had been advised at the last meeting that a TDC Planning Officer had inspected the site and was satisfied with the proposed application.

ADDENDUM

h.    To receive further information on previous advertising signage applications 1/1169/2015/ADV and 1/1168/2015/ADV for Lidl. To consider the applications and resolve accordingly.

RESOLVED: That the application is refused on the grounds that the proposal will be too intrusive into the streetscene.  Members also wished to record that similar totem signs 50metres along the road had been removed by order of TDC.

047    PLANNING AUTHORITIES UPDATE BY CLERK

Members noted the decisions received from Torridge District Council since the last meeting.
                   

The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 6.50 pm.
