The Minutes of the Meeting held on 9 July 2014 were approved and signed as a correct record.

The Mayor explained that, unfortunately, he had been forced to refuse the engagement to officially open the new play equipment on Saturday 2 August, because the planning permission had not yet been granted.

027  PLANNING AUTHORITIES UPDATE BY CLERK

The Assistant to the Town Clerk gave an update on planning application decisions received from TDC and explained she had received a letter from Grainge Architects in response to the Committee’s query regarding the stone statues on the existing building on Brunswick Wharf. In the letter, Grainge Architects confirmed that the statues would be preserved and either reinstated on the existing building or used elsewhere on the site, once construction had been completed.
                   
The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 6.25 pm.
