Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Bideford on Wednesday 17 April 2013 at 6.00 pm

RESOLVED: That the Council recommended that the following observations be made:

•Extensive public consultation will be needed.
•Proximity of local communities needs to be scrutinized closely.
•The issues of shadow flicker & noise need to be considered.
•The Torridge District Council Planning Committee that hears this should be held in the locality.
•The Committee is unsure whether this is for the use of the applicant or if it is being put into the National Grid. If it is for the National Grid then it would not be viable.

126 PLANNING APPLICATIONS – NOTIFICATION OF DECISIONS BY PLANNING AUTHORITIES

The Committee noted the content of those Planning Applications which had been granted / refused by Planning Authorities since the last meeting.
                   
127 EXTENSION TO TIME FOR PLANNING

Councillors discussed the glut of submissions seeking extension of time limits for building and asked the clerk to check with TDC on the policy of resubmission of planning permission for extensions in time.                   

The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 19.02 pm.
