Pannier Market Event

Invitation to Business Start-ups

Bideford Pannier Market has recently been redecorated and the Bideford Town Council Market Management Committee is renewing their efforts to expand the use of the Market Hall as an events venue. Bideford Market is a friendly place to visit with plenty of parking nearby. The toilets, baby changing and disabled facilities are regularly serviced by our on-site Market Officer.

The Market Hall is adequately heated in the cold weather and we have an excellent cafe situated inside the Market Hall serving freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches and snacks with fair trade beverages.  In good weather visitors can enjoy a sunny patio on the south side of the building.

The Market Hall, Butchers Row and the Pannier Shops are rapidly becoming a main attraction for arts, crafts, gifts and customised services. This all adds to the unique browsing and shopping experience that can be found in a traditional Victorian market.

Please take a look at our promotional leaflet for the Market. Many self-motivated people have launched their enterprises from market stalls.

If you should like to take up the opportunity of trading, would like further information, or to arrange an opportunity to talk with a trader, who has made Bideford Pannier Market work for them successfully, please contact - Richard Coombes.
