Members discussed the concerns they had due to the applicant’s past activities with regard to Ford Woodland. They agreed that, as a Council, a letter be sent to the applicant pointing out the following:
• That Ford Woodland is an Ancient Woodland and the property of Bideford Town Council and protected
• That there must be no encroachment onto Ford Woods from the property
• That no rubble or waste from building works is dumped into the Woods (as has previously been done)
• That no garden waste is dumped into the Woods
• That the access gate from the property to the Woodland is removed and a secure boundary is made
• That no trees are removed (as has been the case before) without the permission of this Council
