Public participation Sessions of 15 minutes are held prior to the start of each public meeting.  

For Committee Meetings questions may only be raised on items on the agenda.  

For Full Town Council meetings, items which fall within the scope of the Council's activities may be raised by Bideford Residents.  Participants will be asked to read the Bideford Town Council Code of Conduct (or available at the meeting), and to complete a pro-forma stating their name and address and item to be raised.

16.    Public Works Loan Board
 
a.     To seek the approval of the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government to apply for a PWLB loan of £500,000 over the borrowing term of 25 years for the purpose of building a Maintenance Team Depot.  The annual loan repayments will come to approximately £30,228.
 
b.     To resolve to increase the council tax precept from 2023 for the purpose of the loan repayments by 2.7% which is the equivalent of an additional £2.73 a year on a Band D property. (This will be subject to a precept increase consultation and a recommendation from the Staffing, Finance and General Purposes meeting of 16 June 2022).
 
c.     To resolve to apply for Planning permission to build a depot for the Maintenance Team on the land identified at Caddsdown.
 
17.   To receive the resignation from Councillor Mrs Corfe from the following Committees, and nominate replacement Councillors: Tourism committee, SFPG Committee, Planning Committee and the Partnership meetings.
 
18.   To confirm the Membership of the Tourism Committee.  (Deferred from the last meeting)
