Farmers Market
Bideford Quay will once again be transformed into a food lover's paradise as the first Farmer's Market of the year comes to town.
Producers from across the Torridge district will be displaying their wares riverside from 9AM on Saturday 3rd April.
Fresh fish, meats and vegetables, cheeses and chutneys, homemade baked goodies, herbs, cider and sauces, preserves, plants, pickles and pâté are just a few of the locally produced products that will be on offer on some of the quayside stalls.
Torridge District Council Leader Councillor James Morrish said, "I am delighted that once again we are hosting the Farmers' Market and offering local producers an opportunity to display their goods. The Business Sector is very important to the area and the Council is committed in its support."
Culture and Leisure Officer for Torridge District Council Vikki Braddick said, "This year's markets hope to build on the success of previous events, which were popular with both locals and holidaymakers, and showcased the Torridge area's wonderful range of food and drink in the pleasant surroundings of Bideford's refurbished quayside."
