There were no declarations of interest.

029    PUBLIC PARTICIPATION SESSION

A parishioner spoke on behalf of those members of the public present with regards to Planning Application No 1/0654/2010/OUT – 27 Thornton Close, Bideford.  Concerns expressed by the residents were as follows:

•    Garden grabbing
•    Loss of habitat (badger run and protected hedgerows)
•    Parking issues with school in vicinity
•    Visual amenity (3 storey house considerable higher than existing house)
•    Sight lines
•    Drainage issues

The Minutes of the meeting held on 14 July 2010 were approved and signed as a correct record.

  
031  SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS

RESOLVED:  That Standing Orders be suspended in order for members of the public to contribute to the discussion on planning applications 1/0654/2010/OUT and DCC/3095/2010 only.
