The Minutes of the meeting held on 2 June 2010 were approved and signed as a correct record.

RESOLVED: That the application is refused on the grounds that the extension would be overbearing, there would be a degree of overlooking, and loss of light.

RESOLVED: That the application is refused on the grounds of the proximity of the industrial estate, the associated commercial activity and the potential noise problems. The Council is against a gated community as shown on the plan and would also note that there is no provision for renewable energy sources.

RESOLVED: That the application is refused on the grounds of overdevelopment of the site which will lead to overlooking and access issues as access is via housing for the elderly and frail. The Council is extremely concerned that the houses are out of context with the existing house type and tenant.
