Councillor M L Bushell (North Ward – Work Commitments) and Councillor Mrs P Davies (East Ward – Another Meeting).
107 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Councillor Christie declared a personal interest in agenda item 5.g. (Torridge District Council owns the land).
Councillors Fulford and Pester declared that as both Town and District Councillors they wanted to make it clear that they will reconsider the applications at District level, taking into account all the relevant evidence and representations at the District tier. Both Councillors also declared a personal interest in agenda item 5.g. (Torridge District Council owns the land).

The Minutes of the meeting held on 21 April 2010 were approved and signed as a correct record.

111 ATLANTIC ARRAY SCOPING REPORT
Members considered the Council’s response to the Atlantic Array Scoping Report. Proposed by Councillor Ms Farrington, seconded and

112 PROPOSED ALLOTMENT PROVISION – FORMER GRENVILLE COLLEGE SITE
Members considered the request for their view on the proposed allotment provision as part of the residential development for the former Grenville College site. Proposed by Councillor Christie, seconded and
RESOLVED: That the Council does not think that this is a fair replacement offer to that proposed by the previous application. As a more equitable offer, Bideford Town Council would envisage a small convenience store and a small community centre, both of which are badly needed in this area, although other ideas are in the pipeline and the Council would welcome further future dialogue with a view to possibly progressing these ideas.

113 PLANNING APPLICATIONS – NOTIFICATION OF DECISIONS BY PLANNING AUTHORITIES
The Committee noted the content of those Planning Applications which had been granted/refused by Planning Authorities since the last meeting.
The business of the meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 7.20 pm.
