098 TO CONSIDER AND RESPOND TO AN APPLICATION TO NAME AND
NUMBER A NEW STREET
Members had received a response to their suggestion for the naming of the 28 dwellings on the Bideford Infirmary site as Newborn Place. The developers have further asked for consideration of:
a. Sycamore Rise
b. Sycamore Place
Members considered that they would reject the developer’s suggestions as somewhat bland and wished to adhere to their original “Newborn Place” as it had local distinctiveness.
099 PLANNING AUTHORITIES UPDATE BY CLERK
Members noted the decisions received from Torridge District Council since the last
meeting.
The business of the Meeting having been completed, the Chairman thanked the Members for their attendance and the Meeting concluded at 6.35 pm.
